Guide: Set Up and Use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
The advanced processing environment for Microsoft SQL Server Management allows you to manage, configure, and administer the SQL Server database engines. SSMS provides an enhanced user experience and quick and easy installation and various add-on options.
You can download the latest version of SSMS from the Microsoft download site.
Next, open the installation file and click the install button. After you see the "Installation complete" message, launch Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio from the Start menu.
Once the Connect to Server dialog box appears, set the server name and authentication type of the SQL server to which we want to connect. Now click the Connect button. Once you are connected, the Object Explorer will appear on the left side of the main Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio window. With this tool, you can modify various parameters of the SQL Server Engine and deployed databases. This screen allows us to perform database related operations such as backup, copy, detach, etc.

SSMS allows us to create and execute T-SQL queries. To do this, click the New Query button to open a new query editor, then click the Execute button. Now you need to run the required query and wait for it to complete.
