Guide: Set Up and Use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
The advanced processing environment for Microsoft SQL Server Management allows you to manage, configure, and administer the SQL Server database engines. SSMS provides an enhanced user experience and quick and easy installation and various add-on options.
You can download the latest version of SSMS from the Microsoft download site.
Next, open the installation file and click the install button. After you see the "Installation complete" message, launch Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio from the Start menu.
Once the Connect to Server dialog box appears, set the server name and authentication type of the SQL server to which we want to connect. Now click the Connect button. Once you are connected, the Object Explorer will appear on the left side of the main Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio window. With this tool, you can modify various parameters of the SQL Server Engine and deployed databases. This screen allows us to perform database related operations such as backup, copy, detach, etc.
How to Work with It
SSMS allows us to create and execute T-SQL queries. To do this, click the New Query button to open a new query editor, then click the Execute button. Now you need to run the required query and wait for it to complete.
Protect Your Data!
To back up all your data from the array, restore any data if necessary, and also to create an image of your disk, you can use just one application: DiskInternals RAID Recovery. The uniqueness of this application lies in the fact that it does everything automatically: it checks the state of the file system, disks, array, controller, etc. That is, after you have selected the basic parameters’ array for scanning and recovery mode, you no need to do anything else.
You will see amazing results on the screen very soon, and every file you find can be previewed for free so you can be convinced of the unrivaled quality of recovery. Buying a license will give you the ability to export files anywhere and use the services of the company's specialists in difficult cases. If you want to create a disk image, you will receive it on a separate disk. As a result, you can use it at the right time and restore the system with all configurations and data.
Follow these instructions for a painless and high-quality array recovery:
Download and install DiskInternals RAID Recovery on your computer, then open the application and launch the Recovery Wizard (if the wizard is not needed, skip this step).
Select an array to scan later yourself.
Select the search mode for data in the array:
- Deep (for detailed viewing)
- Fast (superficial)
After scanning, view all or individual search results for free to check the integrity and correctness of the data.
Then purchase a license from the program website to complete the desired export of data to another storage device.
Congratulations, you now have a backup of your array data in another safe location.
